MP4 file used in LinkedIN post

At least half of our company LinkedIN socila posts contain small MP4 video files.

When i try to upload this to Files it says "File not supported"

Please tell me that you haven't just limited the files function to images only?

This social posting function will be completely useless for my organization if this is the case!

Hey there! It's frustrating when we encounter limitations in what we can share online. However, there are other ways to work around this. Consider using an mp4 joiner for free to combine your small MP4 video files into a larger one. You can upload the combined video file to LinkedIn and share it with your audience. I hope this helps!

    Hi.

Since these features are not currently supported and it is not clear when they will be supported, I suggest that you post your proposal to the Ideas forum for better help.

Any ideas when the support for different media files will be supported? Both Email marketing and Social Media Posting is very restricted without these features.

    Specifically:
    MP4
    PDF
    ICS Calendar files

    Hi, CHK1970

Unfortunately, the MP4 files are not supported yet.

There is a clear reminder in this picture below that ‘There’s a maximum of 9 images per LinkedIn post’.

The description in the official documentation (Social media posting with Dynamics 365 Marketing (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs) also explicitly restricts the Media type to image.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
