Export format of electronic report

Is it possible to select different export format of an electronic report ? Say for example I want Sales invoice reort to be printed in Excel, XML, ad PDF. Can I do that? What is the process?

Apart fro ER are there any other way to generate PDF and XML data from FnO?

ER currently supports the TEXT, XML, Microsoft Word document, and OPENXML worksheet formats.

Hi Talent,

That should be pretty easy.

You just have to define multiple ER output destinations; one that creates an Excel document, another one that converts it into a PDF, a third one that sends out the XML, etc.

Tipp:

Have a look at the ISO20022 payment file formats.

The include an XML and Excel documents that you can send out directly or send them out as converted PDFs

I got some more clarity about the scenario now :

It is required to generate some document from F&O in the form of XML and PDF and send it to thirdparty (webservice ) . That document should also have an electronic signature on it.

Is it something that can be achieved by electronic messaging? Or is it a purely customization that needs to be done?

I m not expert when it come to ER but I dont think it can send via webservice. For "send it to thirdparty (webservice )", you need a customization(You can create or save with ER and send with custom code)

Hi Talent,

ER can create e-invoices (XML with embedded PDF) that you can send to your customer.

There is, however, no related electronic signature feature available for that.

This would be something that requires adjustment.
