There is a product improvement suggestion that has been posted on MS Connect.. you can vote for it here : connect.microsoft.com/.../allow-dynamics-gp-desktop-client-to-resize-correctly-based-on-screen-dpi-percentage
As Leslie said, this has been an issue since ever the increasing popularity of large screens (i.e > 19")... The web client minders a little bit the issue, but then again, it doesn't offer the full set of functionalities the GP full client has. Windows 10 users are lucky as the OS offers some kind of 'zooming' function the entire display, which seems to solve some of the problems.
We have found that deploying the web client is the easiest way to resize the windows. GP2016 Web client is browser agnostic so better to use that version.
