Hi All ,

How to find a Ledger balance for particular date in AX 2009 ? Does any form shows the balance for ledger account ?

Example - Aug 30th ,2017 balance.

Hi lally,

For AX2009:

Navigate to: GL/CommonForms/ChartOfAccountDetails

Open the form and select the account you are interested in.

Then click one of the balance buttons

For D365FO:

Here you have more options, such as for example

- Trial Balance form under GL/inquiries and reports

- Open the main accounts form, select your account and then select the account Statement button

In D365

You have multiple reports like trial balance ,dimension statement.

Hi Ludwig ,

Regarding Ax 2009 , the options what you highlighted shows the as on date balance only , it does not have option to know ledger account balance for a particular date .

Any help ?

Hi lally,

In the COA, you can select "Balance-Setup", which will open a small form for you that allows you specifying the date or date range that you need for your balance investigation.
