AR Integrity Check

Hi

I just rebuild AR history from documents and after processing most of my transactions on customer history (Sales, receipts etc) has disappear for the fiscal year 2016. Any advice on how to get this corrected.

    Ken,

    I have run the AR Integrity Check process with the rebuild history option checked and have not lost customer history so my initial thought it that the process does not have a problem.  So, that leaves me looking at a couple of possibilities.  The first is that the process abnormally ended.  To see if that is the case, try running it again and see if your history comes back.  If not, look in the SL event log for process 08990 and see if there is some sort of entry that explains what happened.  My other thought is that you may no longer have documents for those customers.  If your AR retention process was set with a very short retention period and you ran the delete AR detail process or indicated it should be run when you closed the AR period.  One way to see if this is the issue is to pull up one of the customers using customer maintenance who you think should have history and click on the activity button.   If it issues a no activity message then that customer no longer has any documents.  If you do not get that message, the customer activity screen will open.  Change the view option to all documents and click refresh view.  The grid should populate with what documents this customer still has and you can see how they match up with the history.  If there are documents but no history figures corresponding to those documents then you need to determine why the rebuild failed.  Without seeing your actual data, this is about all I can suggest.
