Hi,
I am finding it difficult to use the D365 Roadmap site because features seem to stay categorized under "In Development" even after they have been released.
For example, Average Costing is listed under "In Development", and is also listed twice, yet it appears to be available in the my instance of D365. Given this, I can't tell if the features on the Roadmap site are actually in development, or if they have been released.
Also, every feature listed under In Development appears to be worded in past tense: "We've added inventory pick documents". Does that mean that a Pick List report is now available?
Can someone update the status of the released features so that they move to the "Previously Released" tab? And perhaps adjust the wording to remove the past tense for unreleased features to avoid confusion?
Also, it would be great if the site could display the release date and/or release version when the feature is released. With the rapid development on D365 BE, it would be great to know if a feature is brand new, or if it's been out for 3 months and I just missed it.
Thanks,
Steve
Thank you for this feedback. Generally features move from 'In Development' to 'What's New' when they become available in an update. However, some entries will display in both 'In Development' and 'What's New' as the feature is being added over a few iterations with new capabilities becoming available in a later update.
While we do not show release dates for new features on the roadmap there are (dated) blog posts on this community page for every update that list the features introduced in each update (for example here: community.dynamics.com/.../new-capabilities-dynamics-365-for-financials-july-update).
