Hello,

I am trying to set up a data exchange definition for BMO Bank USA in Microsoft Dynamics. I am facing some challenges with the configuration and would appreciate any guidance or detailed steps on how to properly set this up.

Has anyone worked with this bank before or could provide advice on how to configure the data exchange definition?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi
You could also look into some third-party solutions if your requirement warrants it. I hope this helps. Find the right app | Microsoft AppSource

You need to get a sample EFT file from the bank either yourself or through the customer. Bank usually doesn't communicate with a partner.
You also need to get the EFT specification file from the bank, which is usually lengthy. You need to find out from the 2 files what are the mandatory data to be mapped. BC has a few sample EFT data exchange definition for reference.

Another easy way is to use an addon from 3rd party, it costs the subscription fee. The 3rd party normally support all formats for the banks.

Hi, If the standard setup doesn't do the trick, you can consider some simple customizations.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
