I have question about "Adjustment" header in financial voucher for SO transaction .Why the amount in "Adjustment" doesn't appear in amount Cost of Sales Report?Amount Cost of sales just appear from the amount of financial cost amount in SO module.

Please assist where the amount Cost of sales come from?Is that from financial cost amount or Adjustment amount in financial voucher in AX?

    The correct way to calculate the cost for a sales order issue is to add the financial cost and the adjustment cost of the underlying inventory transactions (InventTrans records attached to that CustInvoiceTrans record).  You can see how in Tables\CustInvoiceTrans\costValue() which for stocked parts ultimately uses Tables\InventTrans\costValue() for each inventory transaction associated.

    public display CostAmountValue costValue()

    {

       return Currency::amount(this.CostAmountPosted + this.CostAmountAdjustment);

    }

    The adjustment cost for an inventory transaction works differently depending on whether that item uses standard cost or actual cost (FIFO, LIFO, Weighted Average, etc.), but it is still part of the cost of goods sold and should be reported as such.

    If you have a report that does not consider the adjustment cost as part of the cost of goods, I suspect that report has been customized.  Dynamics AX is pretty good about reporting cost correctly and consistently out of the box.

    What is the report name?
