Add Discount amount to Period Sensitive Aged AP Crystal Report

Posted on by 935

I need to add the discount amount to the Period Sensitive Aged AP Report.  I've tried going into Crystal Reports and adding the APDoc table and seting the datasource location for all the tables / views to the application database but it still doesn't work.  Can someone please guide me through adding a field from a different table in crystal reports?

Since you have added something to a standard report, Crystal has most likely added an extra setting to the connection string. I see this error when I forget to set Trusted Connection to False. In the report file in Crystal click on Database -> Set Database Location. Click on the plus sign on Properties under the Database name. You should see Trusted Connection. Double click it and change the value to 0 then click close. If this is the only change you made to may not see the Save icon lit. Make some benign change and undo it to get the Save icon and then save the file.

I receive the following errors when attempting to run from Dynamics SL:

Crystal Reports Helpber Application for Solomon IV
    Get SQL Query Failed
    Report S:\Solomon\Usr_Rpts\03681d.RPT
Crystal Print Engine Error: 536 - Error in File S:\Solomon\Usr_Rpts\03681d.RPT:
Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters

Then after that Error this one appears

    System Message 7014
Report execution failed with error 536

here's a screentoast of it so you can see exactly what happens:

Can you please be more specific on what "it still doesn't work" means?
