Hey everybody,
My users are experiencing a problem whereby when adding a new address to either a new or existing customer record, upon entering the post code/zip code the country and state fields are automatically populated with the wrong information (not strictly wrong, but not the correct ones that are required), and when they remove that auto-populated country and state information the system automatically removes the post code/zip code too.
For example, a user enters ITA for Italy into the country field then enters 10122 (a valid Italian post code) into the post code field then moves to the street address line the country automatically changes to USA and the city and state fields automatically switch to New York, NY.
If the user then goes back and changes USA back to ITA all other address fields are blanked, and so the process begins again.
They are currently having to put a full stop after the postcode to stop it being recognised as a New York zip code.
Is there a setting somewhere or a table that associates that postcode exclusively with New York which is forcing the change, and if so how do I switch it off/change it?
Thanks everyone.
