Cash Discount Issue(System is not calculating same day cash discount)

Dear Ludwig!

I have configured the Cash Discount Slab for same day as follows:

Which means I want to give 5% cash discount to my user if he pays the invoice amount in same day. But currently I'm facing following type of issues:

1- System will not give 5% discount on all same day transaction. System will auto generate the discount vouchers of random transaction which contain 5% discount

2- System calculate the exact amount of discount but sometime post that calculated voucher and prompt the following message:

"28.58 for voucher CPR-XXXX in company XXX will be posted as a cash discount difference in ax 2012"

This is one of the client's critical issue so please help me out

Note that the forum is monitored by many volunteers. You don't have to mention only one person in your introduction.

Please provide more information. Have you checked the date on the payment journal? Have you also checked if the cash discount was registered on the invoice?

Ok... i'll take care of this...

Yes. the date on payment journal is of same date and system will also save the cash discount amount slab wise on invoice

Hi Ammarshah,

Can you see a 'full settlement' checkbox in your settlement form and do you make use of that?

What AX2012 version do you operate and have you already checked LCS for available hotfixes?

Hi Ammarshah,

According to this list here (blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../overview-of-microsoft-dynamics-ax-build-numbers) you are on R3 CU8.

Because this is already an older version, I would like to ask you to check the available hotfixes on LCS. I had a quickl look and found a couple of hotfixes for cash discounts for older R3 systems. Please check in detail to verify whether there is one available that fixes your issue.
