Batches are duplicating, erasing, or missing transactions when trying to print or post. When a user tried printing a batch, it posted on its own but incorrectly. When posting, it will come back with an error and post some entries in the batch but others will be missing from the exact same batch.

Has anyone seen this behavior and how do I resolve it?

Batches do not post when you print them but will print when you post them. If you have a batch with 20 transactions in it and one transaction has an error, when you post it the 19 good entries will post and leave the batch leaving only the one that needs to be corrected.

Richard, thanks but this is not what I said and asked in my post...

I can open up a batch and print before posting it. I asked why it sometimes posts when I click on "Print" button and why it deletes transactions when I "Post"

what module is this occurring in?? how is your posting set up..??

I think Richard was just trying to help....we have been running GP for 18 years and never have seen this behaviour.

Maybe it is best you open up a support ticket with MS

As I said, the good transactions will post leaving only transactions that have an issue. That is why transactions are missing from that batch. Are these recurring batches, by chance. There is no mechanism in GP that posts a batch when all you did was click print. Does it do this on all computers? Has someone been messing around with forms modifier and change the function of the buttons?
