Hello Experts,

I have a scenario where we received mixed crate from supplier and we just assigned an LP to it and put it in bulk locations. It was ok for inventory tracking but issue is when we need to replenish from Bulk location and only one of the item is needed for the replen, we need to bring down the whole crate and do manual inventory movement for the other items in the crate. Does anyone else have the same scenario and how do you handle it within OOB advanced warehouse functionality?

Thanks for that, and yes we have location directives setup for our inventory movement.

Hi IvdTang,

We need to bring the whole crate down and open it to get that one item needed for the replen. So technically all items has been removed from the bulk location and bring down to a staging area. I need a work order to reflect that process hence using Inventory movement by template for the other items in the crate.

Hello Ms Burog,

I don't understand why you need to do an inventory movement. Why not picking the 'one item' from the existing license plate and create a new license plate when you pick & put the 'one item'?
