Supported way to remove Fax & Letter Activity Types?

Is there a supported way of removing these Activities? Our users do not use them and if it's not used, there no sense in it being available to be used.

Unfortunately all activity types fall in same Activity bucket - security role can be tweaked to control the access for all or none. This is product limitation.

Probably user training is the best route to adopt, or some customization on form load of Fax to alert/stop users by advising not to create it.

Hi Mike Karls,

You can hide activities from the activities view dropdown using JavaScript, but this is not a supported method. There is no supported way to remove these activities.

Hi Mike,

You can set the security privileges to none. This should remove the access completely for the users.

Hi Mike ,

There is no supported way you can remove those system activity types apart from restrict those using security roles.
