Cannot update task via WebApi

I have a task record.

I try to update it by passing the following attributes:

activityId, description, subject, scheduledend.

When I use the patch method (or even update it in the GUI) I get the following error message:

"Cannot convert entity task to phonecall"

Why do I get this error message?

Dynamics Version:

Microsoft Dynamics 365

Version 1612 (8.2.5.4) (DB 8.2.5.4) on-premises

    This is now solved. It turns out a colleague had implemented some bad plugin logic on Task entity :)

    Why does SSIS not integrate easy with a web API. I spent about 10 hours working on a Script Task to make a simple API call and do some simple Json Sterialization and I am no closer to done then when i started. Even if SSIS cant interface with an API directly, why does Visual Studio not have a better interface then manually creating HTTP requests and parsing responses
