Error when accessing Sales Team Member app

Since last Friday, every single user - even admins - trying to access the Sales Team Member app are facing the following error:

Something has gone wrong. Check technical details for more details.

Technical Details

Cannot read property 'libraryId' of undefined

No changes have been made - at least not that I'm aware of - and all the other apps are still functional. SandBox is on the same version and the app is working fine.

I created a new model-driven app using the same sitemap and the app works normally.

MS support is checking the problem since yesterday, but no news for now.

[EDIT]
So the support agent said:

This happens when user creates a component library and removes all components in it

The mitigation is to go to the maker experience and delete the component library associated with the app

I indeed found a Component Library "lost" there - probably created at some point for a test, but never used - but I can't delete because there's a dependency:

This is a good clue, but I can't find where to remove it from the app. Does anyone have an idea?

That is great, thank you. I have shared this ticket to the powerapp forums on a post there where other people had issues.

I wrote a post describing the problem in more detail.

Take a look if you face the same issue: https://dynamicstoolbox.com/model-drive-app-no-longer-accessible/

Thanks. That really helped. Mine happened with the Project app so I was able to create a new one and so far so good.

RE: Error when accessing Sales Team Member app

It took 2 weeks of back and forth communication with MS support to solve the problems.

Quick answer: It is a bug and to properly solve the problem, it must be done by the support side.

    Now, some insights and workarounds:

    • In my case, the problem is caused when I open the new app edit in preview mode. Even with no changes, it creates a dependent Component Library that cannot be deleted, and it breaks the app.
    • If it happened with a custom model-driven app, just create a new model-driven app using the same site map as the base. The new app will work fine.
    • A workaround to access the app is adding the flag &flags=FCB.EnableAppActions=false at the end of your app url

RE: Error when accessing Sales Team Member app

My issue started when I added a few Workflows in a Dev app then export/imported the solution to the Test app and from there it wouldn't load and this was just last night. I didn't check the app before the new import. I ended up spending a few hours adding and removing things and ended up creating a new dev environment, thankfully I had some older solutions that I could import.

I had a blank Component Library as I tried to test the customizing ribbon button tool, then deleted the button. I am not sure if this helped solve it but I added a blank button into the ribbon (component library) then imported a new solution with just the model driven app and component library into my test environment, then my test app started working again. Thankfully we have not gone to production yet.

We have encountered exactly the same problem. The app can't start anymore. Friday it was working and today we can't get in. Nothing changed..?!

Has there been an solution, or workaround for you?

    Thank you in advance.

I have also experienced this error recently and have not found a way to remove the component library. I would greatly appreciate an answer also.
