I am currently seeking advice on how to create a SmartList that will give me the Contract Earned amount (month-to-date) for each individual job. We use WennSoft Job Cost for all of our contracted jobs. We use the percentage of completion method to recognize the revenue earned for each job. I can't find any info on this topic so I have resorted to posting my question here. GP automatically calculates the Contract Earned or Revenue amount, so I am looking for a way to build a SmartList that will give me the Total Contract Earned, along with Total Costs at the beginning of the month (point in time) for each job, then give me the Total Contract Earned as of now. Then, I can just subtract the two amounts. Since one is point in time and the other is as of now, I may have to create two separate SmartLists. If that is the case, can I then link the two? Furthermore, I would like to learn how to get the SmartList to automatically update into an Excel Spreadsheet, formatted to preference, so I can easily send out the formatted report every Monday. However, I haven't got that far yet, and since my last question is not as specific as my initial question, I may be able to look that one up. I just figured I might as well ask here while I am at it.
