Physical remaining quantity in the unit PCS must be other than zero while posting packing slip

we are facing issue while posting packing slip, system is showing error "Physical remaining quantity in the unit PCS must be other than zero"

please suggest how to resolve

    Hi Faisal,

    You have to check the sales order lines if there is a line where the quantity was or already received or cancelled. In both scenarios the remaining quantity is zero.

    Dear

    we are processing sales order through Shipment wizard, and in sales order qty is not cancelled, item need to be partly dispatched. the status of item is Picked. while posting packing slip system shows the error "Physical remaining quantity in the unit PCS must be other than zero"

    During shipment process Dynamics can reserve items, but without more information it's hard to see wich is your problem, are you using tracking dimensions?

    Do you have unit conversions setup for the item? Do you have transactions in unit other than the inventory unit?

    This can happen when the unit is (somehow) not entered correctly on the sales line, for example through interfacing, customization, or incorrect imports on the salesline or in the conversion table. You end up with a unit that looks a lot like 'PCS', but is a completely different unit such as 'Pcs', 'PCS ' or 'pcs'.

    I am not entirely sure that it's really case sensitive, but if you defined your eaches as PCS, then seeing Pcs on the salesline is a dead giveaway that something fishy is going on.
