Customizing CampaignResponse to Lead Workflow

I see the automated process (in the ribbon on a CampaignResponse) to convert the CampaignResponse to a new Lead, existing Lead, or attach to Contact/Account. Our business needs require us to slightly modify this process and automate the CampaignResponse to Lead creation process.

My question is, is this workflow a process that can be customized? Or do I need a completely custom process/plugin to automatically convert the CampaignResponses up to a Lead (or based on certain business rules, attach to an existing Lead or Contact)?

Thank you!

    Hi,

sadly you can not edit the behaviour of this process and have to write your own workflow/plugin.

If you just wanted to change the mapping of some fields, have a look at this article

Thank you for your response. I was afraid this was the case. Are you aware of any plans to introduce this feature?
