CRM 2015 OnPremise - You cannot delete this form because it is the only fallback form of type main

Hello,

Via a CRM 2015 OnPremise Organization, i'm trying to uninstall a managed solution but i'm getting this issue :

You cannot delete this form because it is the only fallback form of type main for the new_synchro entity. Each entity must have at least one fallback form for each form type

I've checked on the main form of the concerned entity (new_synchro), the option "Fallback" is checked correctly and the form is accessible for all security roles !  There's only one main form for this entity.

I've searched on the web for some help but nothing that can give me informations.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Jean

    Hello Jean,

I would say that somehow the main form of the entity is only contained in the managed solution you are trying to uninstall but the entity "new_synchro" has been created by another. So when trying to uninstall, the system tries to delete the main form but not the entity, and as the error message says, you must have at least one form for the entity.

As a workaround, you can create another main form on the "new_synchro" entity, set it as a fallback form, and then uninstall your solution.

    Good luck.

    Best,

    Boris T.

    Hello Boris,

Thanks for your help. I've created a new main form and set fallback option to true. So I've tried to uninstall the managed solution but I get the issue "Only custom fields can be deleted." I can see in a lot of forums that is a MS issue resolved in a hotfix for CRM 2011. But I use a CRM 2015 OnPremise and I don't know how can I resolve it.

Any idea about this issue ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Jean

    Hi dos757,

I suggest you capture platform traces to find out the stack where the uninstall of solution fails.

You can refer below link to capture traces,
