I am just setting up my templates for use on Business Central. It works great as it's really easy to do in word. However things seem really limiting considering the amount of useful data i have stored in the system?
One of the reports i have done is for the Sales Shipment, this was really easy to set up but seems to be missing loads of useful information.
I only seem to have available the resources under here...
Developer > XML Mapping Pane > Select: microsoft-dynamics-nav/reports/Sales_Shipment/208
When adding the details on the shipment line all i really have available is Line Number, Product Code, Name, Qty, Unit of Measure. On our current Warehouse Management we have all of the available item fields to add to these reports, is there a way to join these on?
For example adding in the item price so the customers receiving the goods have the price on the shipment document, or adding the GTIN so the customers can see the barcodes.
Also there doesn't seem to be an ability to add in barcode fonts or codes? We use these against the GTIN on each line as well as the order number so the document can be quickly scanned.
Am i missing something here or is this just another shortcoming of Business Central?
