Personalize views for multiple users from system administration module

Hi,

Can you please indicate if we can apply a specific view (in which we eliminate or add fields)  to multiple users without go each user GUI to make this modification.

    Hello Bogdan,

    If I understood correctly you want to migrate form personalizations between users.

    One option is for each user to load the personalization from another user. This is made by right click on the form >> "Personalize" >> "Retrieve from user". Note that before that some other user has to "Save" his personalization.

    Now if you want to manage that as admin you can use the table SysLastValue. I fount these links helpful:

    Copying the entire SysLastValue with the first script is not a good idea, since it contains information for packed class execution states. You may want to restrict it only to forms, which is UserSetup as per the blog entry by Joris on the second link.

    The better option is to make a form personalization by the department leads and key users, and let other employees retrieve those layouts per form themselves by their leaders' instructions.
