Marketing app instances

Hi,

We are doing environment reset every 4. week. As a part of these we uninstall our Marketing app from our TEST env. 

When the reset is complete we install it again. 

But now we can see 3 Marketing app instances, 1 is used for our PROD env. but why do we have the 2 others shouldn't we only see 1 more?

I have checked and we only have license for 2 instances. 

I there a way to remove the extra instance or rename them so we know which one to install again after reset?

    Hi Jellew,

    as far as I know you see there one instance for every environment that you have. By clicking on the three dots you can configure which Application should be configured. Same for the "Solution only" instance. Do you have more then your 2 environments, one for dev for example?

    As these are comming be default Iam sure there is not option to remove them from the list. For sure there is no option in the settings, maybe support can help you if you just have 2 instances.

    Yes we have 3 env. Dev,Test,Prod. So there is 3 just because we have 3 env. so it does not matte which one we configure after a reset. As long as we configure it to the correct environment?

    Yes,

    that is right. It is just important that you choose the right environment in the settings. So in your case one Marketing Application will remain in unconfigured status. I have seen several scenarios on clients where we have 3 ore more Applications but only one configured one due to missing licences for test and dev environment.
