Hi,

I am new to Retail , learning on my own. Have a question on Retail Discount

1) I created Discount in Retail-> Price/Discount-> Discount

2) Specificaiton is follows a) 25% Discount on product 0005 b) Linked to price group west c) The price group west is affiliated to Seattle store d) Default customer for seattle store is 100001

3) I created Sale order for Item 0005 against the customer 100001

4) As per the set up configured the discount has to be applied for this sale order

5) But i find the discount is not applied for this sale order

I want to know if i have missed any set up due to which this discount is not applied in the sale order Level

Regards

Prasad

If you are creating the sales order directly from AX client, then you may have to create a call center in order to apply the Retail periodic discount in Sales order.

But if you are creating the sales order from POS, then the Retail periodic discount should get applied. You may have to check the configuration in this case.

    Hi Prasad,

As Sumit says, there is extra setup required to use Retail Pricing in a standard sales order. Per the setup for Call center, you'll be creating at least one Retail Channel for the Call Centre, Channel Users, Catalogues, Source codes and I'm sure other things.

    blogs.msdn.com/.../call-center-channel-user.aspx

I haven't tried it myself yet, so please report back if you get it working.

Finally, for inspiration, on this blog you can see what you are attempting in action:

    Hi,

Somebody already successed to cumulate a discount on customer group from trade agreement, and discount from retail feature ?

    regards, Ben.

    Hi Benoit,

From what I've seen, with Retail pricing, AX will use either a Trade Agreement discount or a Retail discount (but not both). I think it uses which offers the lowest net price. Therefore, it is only possible to cumulate discounts if they are Retail discounts.
