MS RMS - ADDING CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES TO ITEMS FOR REPORT USES

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport

I need to perform a profit per square foot analysis for a custom report. So I need to add the "allocated retail space" as an attribute to my items. Any ideas if adding custom attributes is possible? If yes, please share ASAP. Thanks a lot!

you could use the sub descriptions to accomplish this.  they already how database fields and can be shown on internal reports.

I agree that subdescriptions will be your best choice. Just be aware that they are stored as nvarchar, and so will need to be converted before any kind of operation is performed on them.

Yes, Spencer is right. You can do a view in sql and do your calculation there to make it easier and improve performance.
