Hello,
In my company our CEO hands in a timesheet, like all the other employees, the way it's been handled in the workflow is creating a conditional decision that checks specifically for the CEOs name. If it's the CEOs timesheet then it gets redirected to the VP.
It just seems a bit "clunky" having to use the CEOs name in the workflow, is there something in standard where the CEOs (or other top management) timesheets can get redirected automatically?

Hello both,
Thank you for your replies.
It seems like we'll continue with our solution having a condition on the names.
As you mentioned André, a change of CEO doesn't happen that often and the cost of a customization will probably be higher than the small annoyance. I know it's a nice-to-have, just figured it might have been covered by standard in some way.

Hi Joachim,
I have a similar experience like you and CA Garangkumar. At that time, we ended up in having a condition on the worker name. WIth a customization you might be able to select a position as condition. I haven't looked into the options too deeply as the customer thought it was not worth a customization, spending a lot of hours where a new version of the workflow is not ideal, but cheaper. How many times does the person change on the CEO position?
Hi Joachimpwc
I had the same scenario where Expense was submitted by one of the employees on behalf of CEO & MD.
I just used condition to bypass the approval to CFO, instead of next reporting person. Not only that, but I also used the worker name to identify the worker, as there was no other sophisticated solution.
I think that's the only solution right now out-of-the-box in FO.
Please let us know if this helps.
Thanks,
André Arnaud de Cal...
