How can I see the date something was actually posted in BC.

I am trying to see which payments were posted when. Someone could control the posting date to post it into June, but the posting could actually happen on July 5th (for example). I'd like to see the "posting date" into the ledger as well as the actual date someone posted the entry. thank you!

I have the same question (0)

Hi, while it may seem a bit cumbersome, check out the page below if needed.

    G/L Registers:

in g/l register you can see the creation date of those entry. you need to find the gl entry no. and filter it in gl register.

When I run into this issue I sort by entry number. Starting with an entry I know was posted on that the actual date.

Hi, I don't know your current version of NAV, I think you can try to display column.

A few of the most recent versions of BC have a system field called SystemCreatedAt which can be found in any table/record. It's a time stamp of when the record was actually created. There are other fields as SystemCreatedBy, SystemModifiedAt and SystemModifiedBy. These fields are not visible on pages, but you can see them by using Zoom functionality (Inspect pages and data) - Ctrl+Alt+F1.
