RE: Comparison to Sage's Cloud ERP solution

Since the 1970s, Sage has been regarded as one of the most popular accounting software for small and medium-sized enterprises. But modern alternatives are better because they have adapted with time to meet the needs of modern-day businesses, integrate seamlessly with other business functions, and are frequently updated to meet the needs of the business.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a robust, cloud-based, scalable, AI-enabled ER solution with capabilities right for your business. According to a study by Forrester Research, businesses that migrated to Dynamics 365 Business Central reported a 162 per cent increase in RO for businesses. In addition, Business Central is scalable and can add as many users as you need with Business Central. Many companies opt for modern ERP like Business Central because it is highly scalable and customisable. With Microsoft investing billions of dollars into its business enablement software, they provide a wide ecosystem to support multiple business applications. This helps ERP communicate seamlessly with your CRM and HR system and provides robust reporting capabilities with Power BI and the ability to automate repetitive business processes with Power Automate.

Additionally, with thousands of apps available through Microsoft AppSource, you can quickly expand your ERP's functionality.

Another advantage of switching to BC would be savings in the system's total cost of ownership. For instance, BC Essential user license costs £52 per user, whereas Sage 200 charges £290 for one user.

Finally, BC is adaptable and modular; whether you are in a supply chain business, service business, or a non-profit, BC has modules, accelerators and add-ons to cater the product specifically to your business. But with Sage, you have to be specific about choosing Sage 50, 100, 200, or 300 per your business needs.

If you want to understand more on the differences between the two ERPs, check out our detailed blog on migration from Sage to Business Central.
