Can I disable mailboxes in the Sandbox instance without effecting mailboxes in production?

I have a sandbox instance that is in Administrator mode, and before I turn that off I would want to disable the mailboxes.  I have some workflows that I wanted to test and I don't want any emails to actually send out.

    Hi Maustin,

Actually this is the preferred/ recommended approach i.e. before disabling the admin mode, ensure that the outgoing email profile is set to none. In additiona, you also need to ensure that any integration is turned off.

You can do this by selecting all users and then changing the outgoing email, incoming email & ACT set to none.

    Hope this helps.
