Reduce time to running a workflow

I created a workflow for populated fields in one entity, but I need to save and refresh many times for the result.

Could you help me, how I can improve the workflow reducing the process only with one save after the record was created.

Thank you

    Hi,

If you have created a asynchronous workflow we have button on ribbon make as asynchronous to synchronous and vise versa.

    asynchronous workflow to synchronous workflow:

    Hi,

If you write any asynchronous workflow it will take sometime because we don't have direct connection between Dynamic CRM and CDS. it is pass through web api then web api is put into the queue. Once your job get number it will execute otherwise it will wait for the resource to execute your response.

But in case of synchronous once  you sent the request it will immediately perform the transaction to the CDS and get the response back to the Dynamic CRM.

Note : In case of synchronous task is performing immediately but in case asynchronous task is performing bit late.

    Thanks,

    Arshad
