Hi Everyone,

Is there any workaround in Business Central to implement an approval workflow per individual journal entry? We're specifically looking beyond the standard line-level or batch-level approval—something that would allow each entry to go through its own approval process.

As far as I know, this cannot be done by standard. It needs to be customized.

No, Business Central's standard workflows do not support "per individual journal entry" approval.

To achieve this granular level of approval, you will need customization from your Microsoft Partner. This requires significant AL development to create custom logic, tables, and pages to manage approvals for each journal line independently.

From Standard implementation only to the extend of Workflow user Groups functionality & workflow step functionality is possible for more complex logics AL development is required.
