ReportReport
Posted on by

Dear all AX Experts,

why when i created new report definitions using user administrator, there's always an error message when my clients want to generate the new reports ?

The error message always require my clients to assign the reports to the library, when i've assigned the report to the library, the error message appears in the next day

Can anyone give me any solutions to fix this problem? how to make the error message doesn't appears anymore

Thanks,

Christoper

    Hi christoper,

In the report library, have you limited the access to the different folders by users/user groups?

Have you tried modifying those security settings/user access?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Dear Ludwig,

    Thanks for your responses,

I'm using MR CU10 and after i check the bug fixes, my issue maybe a bug in CU10 and there's bug fixes for my issue in CU11 :

1721610 The Generate to a single report library and link location gets deleted when the Report Group Definition form is opened and saved without making any changes

1721895 After a generated report opens in the Report Viewer, clicking the Report Library button shows a blank report list

is that will solve my issue? what do you think?

    Thanks,

    Christoper

    Hello Christoper,

Those Hotfixes might resolve the issue. Yet rather than installing them, why don't you upgrade to the latest MR version? I believe that would be the better option.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
