I have this issue, Item is on hold for transactions in Inventory, found a solution which is
Option 1: On you item, click the "default order settings, click sales order, check the whether the stopped tick is on.
Option 2: On you item, click the "site specific order settings, click sales order, check the whether the stopped tick is on.
may I know what is the possible rootcause for this issue? Thank you.
Hi MacHat,
The options you found allows you to stop/release the stop of an item.
Unfortunately, I cannot tell you why the item you want to include in your sales order was stopped.
There might be a new product available that replaces the one that you want to sell.
Other common reasons I have seen were related to quality issues, necessary verifications, etc.
Would suggest that you ask somebody in your inventory/product management department why this specific item was stopped.
They should know.
