Trying to remove "New" status Purchase Orders off of Open PO report.

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I have quite a bit of POs that are from 2015 and 2016 but they have a status of "New". I tried accessing them from Edit Purchase Order Status but it says "This is not an active purchase order. Please enter another purchase order." Is there anyway to clear these out. I also have POs without a status at all. Would like to get rid of those as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Another method you could use is to open the Purchase Order Navigation List and simply check the boxes next to the POs you want to delete and click on the Delete button. That way, you wouldn't have to bring each one up individually in the Transaction Entry window.

    Kind regards,

You should be able to go to the Purchase Order Entry window, retrieve the PO and delete it from there.
