Close Report Window After Preview/Print

ReportReport

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to not show the report window when someone click preview/print without using the ProcessingOnly property.
The problem is: I have a report with 2 options in request page. The first option is just a processing report and the second one is a printing report.

Best regards

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Do you have a scenario in standard Dynamics NAV that I can run to understand the experience.

    Thanks.

    Hi Josalm,

You can use "CurrReport.QUIT" it will break the execution of the report and the user cannot see anything.

After the processing code end, you can call "CurrReport.QUIT" code.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/quit-function--report--xmlport-

    Thanks,

    Kolitha.

    Hello,

According to that documentation, "CurrReport.QUIT" aborts all the processing and that's not the idea.

Never test this, but try using CurrReport.Skip() when looping your data item. Because it skips the data, it will not print it. You will end up with no data to print.

Hi, is it possible to use Report.Preview() Method: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/methods-auto/report/reportinstance-preview-method

Here is a simple usage example:
