Apply bulk credit adjustments

Posted on by 4
Hello there

I am wondering if someone knows of a way to apply bulk credit adjustments from an XLS.

If we have an XLS with some customers who's orders weren't fulfilled we want to credit them on their next invoice.

We are wondering if it is possible to import an XLS with the customers and credit amounts into Business Central and have it apply directly to their next invoice?

Kind regards,

Timothy

    Hi Zhu,

I followed the steps in your articles however I am still unsure on how to configure it exactly to be able to post credit adjustments for their next invoice from the XLS.

    Hi, this requires customization.
You need to import the Credit memo from xls file (Excel), post it and automatically apply it to the next invoice. Unfortunately, the standard can't do that.
Maybe you can consider using Configuration Package and some manual operations.
How to Export and Import Data (Using Configuration Packages)

How to use Configuration Package to post documents (Sales Order, Purchase Order, Transfer Order, General Journal, etc.)

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
