PO line items detailed inquiry

Hi,

I am looking for one inquiry form (not report), that shows purchase order lines that have not been received and invoiced, as well purchase order lines that have been received and /or invoiced.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sam

    Hi Sam,

What if you use Open purchase order inquiry like Ludwig advised and change the filter on it to display all lines (not only open) and save it as a tile or a list on the workspace?

    Hi Sam,

Yes but there is no direct tile for it but a small work around. Please try and let me know if this helps you

Open "Open purchase order lines" form and then add the field line status in the form and select value "invoiced" and you will get all the purchase order lines which are invoiced.

Now go to the options tab and make a tile for this. The same can be done for the received purchase order lines.

What about the invoiced line items? Can I create a tile for that?

    Thanks

    Hi Sam,

You can you open purchase order lines form to see all the lines which are open and a tile can be created and added to the procurement workspace to track open lines.

Similarly the purchase order receipt and follow up workspace has standard tiles for orders received but not invoiced and orders registered but not received.

You can make users habitual to use this workspace to their advantage. If need some custom tiles can be created and added.

    Hello Sam,

Getting all in one single screen might be a bit challenging.

I could imagine that you use the 'purchase order receipt and follow up' workspace.

Alternatively the 'purchase order preparation' workspace might help.

Yet, those workspaces do not seem to include exactly what you need. Probably you can add some own customed tiles or links based on queries that you created in other forms?!

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

Taking a look on technet definition we have:

    Open purchase order lines:

Use this form to view the purchase order lines that have not been executed and that have open order status. Open order status means that the purchase order lines have not been received and invoiced.

The purchase order received but not invoiced can help to see the goods received not invoiced.

The 3rd missing element is about the received and invoiced line items

As well I need to see them all together in one screen. This is a business requirement where the Procurement department can do an analysis or purchases by line items where they can analyse a specific item no, and drill down to vendor, and they see it in one global view (Open POs, PO received not invoiced and PO invoiced line items).

Trying to avoid to build a report or inquiry screen from scratch (customization).

    Thanks

    sam

    Hello Sam,

    Please check the following forms:

They should include the data you are looking for.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
