GeneralJournalAccountEntry - Blank text field when multiple lines with same value are posted

Hoping someone here could help us.
First of all, we are running a DAX CU8 R3.

Everytime I do a multiple line post action into the table GeneralJournalAccountEntry the Text field is coming blank for entries that have same amount in TransactionCurrencyAmount field.

As an example, we made an expense report post with 3 lines with the same Transaction amount (R$40,00)

When we try looking for the voucher transaction inquire under General Ledger module refering to the above post, only 1 out of 3 lines comes with the Text field filled instead of all 3 for those lines of transaction.

We tried the same process but with 3 lines and diferent amounts and there was no issue.

Obs. This also happens with a 2 line, same amount report. (One comes with the Text field filled, the other does not)

Also, when selecting a not filled Text field line, there is no subledger journal option (See attached image) - I don't know if it's related or not.

Is this an expected behavior of the system? Is there a config missing? Maybe a KB or is it a BUG?

Hi Ivan,

You are operating a very old R3 version.

I checked LCS for available hotfixes and found a couple that might be related to the issue you report.

Please see:

fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../Results

Is there any chance that you upgrade to the very latest R3 version?

If this seems not possible then let's please have a developer taking a look at this issue to debug.

Ludwig, thank you for your reply.

We had an upgrade planned for this year but unfortunatly due to known circunstances, we had to postpone this upgrade.

I'll be looking into those hotfixes for something that could help us and see if we can get a dev to debug the process.
