Problem with CRM for Outlook Add-In

I’m developing an Outlook Add-in for Outlook 2007 using Visual Studio 2008 (C#) . Without CRM Add-In for Outlook (CRM 4.0, Russian) everything works fine, but after installing it and closing Outlook, outlook.exe process hasn’t terminated. For a test, I’ve created a blank default Outlook Add-in C# Project in VS2008 and added some basic logic for testing. Well, the reaction of outlook.exe was the same: everything working correctly when it’s new blank add-in or CRM4Outlook, but together they didn’t allow outlook.exe to close.

Colleagues, If  you could give me guidance it would be most appreciated.

     Soon MS will release a hotfix for CRM for Outlook Add-In. We're testing it now and it works fine.

    Hello Cielo,

     Can you tell me what hotfix was it?

    I installed the Microsoft Dynamics CRM add-in for Outlook recently. Now I am reproducing the same problem. In my case even an empty add-in generated by VSTO doesn't allow Outlook to close when the cRM add-in is enabled.

    I tested an add-in generated by VSTO 2005 (SE) in Outlook 2003. The same occurs when it is a VSTO 2008 based add-in in Outlook 2007.

    Sorry, forgot to note that Add-in Express based add-ins aren't influenced by the CRM add-in. They were fairly simple, though.

    Hey thanks

     

     This  helped us .. we are product devlopment company and were not releasing the product because of this issue.  This  really helped us  to release thanks for all the help

    This product is add on to outlook which  converts  In coming email  to leads.
