CRM Records Open in New Window - How to Stop that?

I can't stand all these new windows opening.  Everytime i click and account or contact or case it launches a new browser window.  Isn't there a way to make it launch within the existing browser tab/window???

    Andrew,

    On your IE Settings, you can switch the behavior to open the new records on Tabs instead of Windows.

    Internet Options -> Tab Settings

    Hi Gus,

    Isn't there any way to simply have it open in the existing tab? Salesforce does that.  Is it not an option with MS CRM?

    There is no option for MS CRM 2011 to do this. This would be a feature of Internet Explorer.

    As CRM 2011 goes into Browser Agnostic, there might be other Internet Browsers that will allow this but until today, there is no option to do this.
