Voice of the Customer (VoC) - Errors when previewing or publishing

When I try to preview one of my new surveys, I get the error:

Business Process Error

ISV code aborted the operation.

If I try to publish it, the error then becomes:

Business Process Error

There was an error processing the translations document.

I started working on this last week and it was fine. I added more questions and this came up. I can't find any help on this. I see someone else had an error and their answer was to reinstall the solution. I assume that means I would lose all my work, so I'm not excited about that.

I might have an answer for this. After deleting the survey that was throwing the error, I recreated it. After every new question I created, I previewed. I noticed some times I got the business process error. I went back to the question I was just editing, and re-saved it.

This seemed to work all 3 times this happened.

I also came across same scenario where I couldn't able to publish the survey. I did some random experiments and found that Short and Long answers are reason due to which my survey was not publishing and was giving some error like "Reference to undeclared entity nbsp". As soon as I removed those two components it published easily. I am not sure about exact problem but this resolved my issue.

Sorry for the late answer, you have to enable the VOC from the managed solution installed

    The way I resolved is

    1. go to solutions, VOC managed solution and activate it

    2. if it errors out then go to admin portal and re-install the VOC module

    3. repeat step 1

    4. now you should be able to preview and publish
