Goal Metrics & Roll Up Queries

Hi Community,

I would like to set a simple goal for the organization for an x nr of opportnities with a specific field value.

To create a new goal, i need to have a 'goal metric' and a 'roll up query'

I was able to create the roll up query, but not the Goal Metric. When creating a new goal metric, I choose Metric Type = Count

But how can I define rollup fields for this metric?

Thanks!!

    Hi Debster

You need to create the Rollup Queries first to be able to add them to your Goal Metric, You can create them from Under the Sales Menu right under to  Goals and Goal Metric Menu items

    www.microsoft.com/.../create-or-edit-a-rollup-query.aspx

    Hope that helps :)

    Best Wishes, Raz

    Hi Raz,

    Thanks for replying.

The thing is that i was able to create a roll up query, see image below:

However for the goal metric (which is a mandatory field in the Goal itself), I am asking to define roll up fields.

I am a bit lost as to how to have them appear so that i can pick /define them in the goal metric, so I decided to create roll up fields, but also this did do any good.

Image below: Goal metric where you can see that it asks you to define the roll up field

So, i guess the problem i have is that i cannot define any roll up fields for my goal metric as i have none to choose from...

    Thanks, Debbie
