Microsoft began enforcing the TLS requirements that the separate hardware station installer already required. Basically, you need to disable the older versions of TLS.
We used the following registry file to accomplish this. Save into a file with extension .reg and import into your registry. I might have more items disabled here than are required at a minimum, but we decided to follow best practice and disable all insecure protocols to force the newer versions on our devices anyway.
