Lost Dimension when completing WIP posting on Projects

Working in BC 25 cloud.

A BC Project is setup with Dimensions on the header AND dimensions assigned as default dimensions (on items) on project planning lines.   The project planning lines are assigned to Items that are inventory and non-inventory.  Every item is assigned a default dimension 1 "Product".  The project tasks can hold multiple items/product dimensions
Dimension priorities are setup to take Item first, then project.   The project is completed contract.

When posting transactions, the Project Ledger Entries post the Product dimension correctly for each project planning line.  When running WIP before its completed, the product dimension is assigned correctly (in WIP balance sheet accounts).
When the project is completed, the "Recognized Cost" transactions drop the product dimensions.

Note:  The dimensions assigned to the project header post correctly.  It is the product dimension  assigned only to the lines through the item default dimension that is lost.

Microsoft seems to think this is just a enhancement as they comment on the idea submission , stating this is not on the roadmap!
    what are your thoughts?

Yes, project planning in Business Central is quite limited. If your company or team heavily relies on the Project Management module, I recommend exploring additional apps from Microsoft AppSource.

This issue typically happens because Business Central does not always carry forward item-level dimensions during WIP recognition when completing a project. Since the Recognized Cost entries are system-generated, the dimension inheritance might not work as expected.
