Outbound Shipment update - error

Hi All

I have got an error regarding outbound shipment.

"Sales order line not found for LoadLine Record ID 5638585852", is a line missing or has an order been modified? 

For more information:

- Items were successfully deliverd with the correct quantity shown on the system (via lines tab on outbound shipment)

- items did not end up being delivered, qty ordered: 1, qty delivered: 0. Based on that, will I need to update information on the item that was not deliverd on Sales Order to resolve this error?

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for detailed information.

    Could you please tell us the steps you have followed? I think it will help a lot.

    For example:

    1) Create SO.

    2) Release SO.

    3) Create Load.

    4) Etc...

    I would also like you to post some pictures of the main transactions, maybe I can help you. I haven't cleared yet if you are intending to use full Warehouse Management process (Shipment / Load - Wave - Work) or if you are lacking of any step.

    I followed your first step, the issue status is "sold", I can also see this has been invoiced on the Sales order.

    therefore, the order has not been cancelled.

    in terms of requesting this item to be delivered from location to another, yes this was requested via warehouse management>>>work planning loadbench

    When you are talking about status of your shipment, are you asking if this has been processed? If so, this has been processed under 'Outbound Shipment', BUT on 'Outbound Shipment Update'(when item has been delivered), this has not been processed (no tick on the 'processed' box).

    Sorry but Im not familiar with WHSloadline, I'm can't see this on the log history when viewing the log of the error.

    I am using AX 2012 R3

    Application version: 6.3.1000.473

    Hi Peter,

    I think you should check a few things:

    1) Check the status of your sales order line transaction. Go to Inventory button -> Transaction and you will see the status of it (is it delivered? is it picked? is it physically reserved?)

    2) Is your sales order line cancelled?

    3) Have you executed any work? (A work is a transaction to pick items in order to move from one location to baydoor)

    4) Which is the status of your shipment? Is it loaded? Is it in process?

    If you don't see anything strange while checking previous questions, I would look into the "WHSLoadLine" table, filtering for the Record Id from your message to see if you find any wrong data.

    It would be helpful if you provide the exact AX version you are working in and if you tell us if you have any customizations in sales order process.
