I need sql code to make markdown to sales document

hi to all

i used to make discount to sales document through markdown to all the items in the document one by one and this some time take time from in case if the document contain many items .

so i need your help to give sql code do this to me. i just put the percentage that i need and code put it in all items.

I would caution against making direct edits in SQL on a regular basis.

If you can walk us through your specific requirements we might be able to suggest a solution that aligns with your business process.

my requirement is SQL Query making markdown to unposted sales document to all items on it . just i will put the percentage i want

I want this because some time we need to make discount to document maybe contain more than 100 items , so it take a lot of time .

the sales Dept. used to send the request to me to make this discount

but as you said if this not recommended to done or there is risk your suggestion is appreciated and considered

You can't do it with SQL.

You can do it with using macro although.

I agree with Kirk, you really want to be careful making updates like this in SQL, as they often need to touch a lot more than just the line items.

I would recommend considering using the Trade Discount instead - you can enter it once and it will apply to all the lines.
