Different behavior of lookup field with no priviledges on lookup entity

Hi there,

I have encountered an issue while creating a record, the lookup field in the classic UI is locked directly when the user opens the form because he has no rights on the lookup entity, while in UCI, the field shows the following message: insuffisant permissions. 

How can I achieve the same treatment in UCI meaning lock the field without using field security role? and Can anyone please explain this odd behavior between both interfaces?

    Hello,

    This looks like an UCI bug so my recommendation is to open a ticket with Microsoft and ask them to fix it.
