Can't log into MR once user changed her GP password

I have a user that changed her GP password.  Now she can't get into MR.  I unchecked, in Dynamics GP>Tools > Setup > System > User, the Advanced SQL Server options and she is now able to log in without error to MR.  They do want these options checked, but I do not know how to resolve this, for good, with the options marked.  Any ideas?

    MR typically relies on AD authentication while GP is always deployed in mixed authentication mode. Is it possible the user is mixing up their GP password with their AD password?

    Hi Sherry,

    That rather sound strange.. I do have the option for the enforced Security setup too for my GP users and never had an issue with the login in MR 2012 after users change their password in GP. Usually GP will just prompt you when trying to connect to the default GP company in MR for the new pwd.

    What release of MR are you on (CU ) ?  do you use the Legacy connector or the DataMart ?
