Hi:
For an end user who has no licensing for Manufacturing and is not using the Jobs module, what document in Business Central can be used and if necessary modified to act as a Job Traveler?
Thanks!
John

Hi, I'm sorry I don't fully understand what you mean, if you just need a report, you can refer to Inge's opinion. Or customize a new report.
If you want to manage the work of users, I think you can use Teams Task or User Task feature.

Hope this can give you some hints.
Thanks.

You really do not need a different report. In BC you can have different layout for the same report and then you can select the layout you want when the report is printed.
So you can have the standard layout used as order confirmation and you can add another layout that you can call work order and that layout can look totally different even though it is based on the same report.
Hi Inge:
Yes, the job traveler is a work order given to a technician for a job site.
They're not licensed for the Service module.
It's possible that the Order Confirmation may already be used for the packing list. If that's the case, is there a different report that can act as the traveler?
John
What do you mean by job traveler? Is it like a work order than you give to a technician for him / her to go do a job at a site?
If so i would customize a order confirmation if the job is registered as a sales order.
