Notification emails only received by Approver.

Hello,

Our sales manager is receiving emails when our sales team sends the approval request perfectly fine. However, our sales reps are not being notified when it has been denied or approved causing a lot of unnecessary phone calls and emails for clarification. I have the notification emails set to "Instantly" and all users are set up with the sales manager as the approver and everyone's e-mail set to their email. I feel like I may be missing a step.

    Hi,

    That is good that you come back to me then. I did only test the rejection and that worked fine so I assumed approvals would be the same. If what you say is true, then I will file it as a feature request. What you did ask for, sounds like valid request. I cannot guarantee that it will be approved or when this will be taken care off, but I will make sure the Product Group is aware of the scenario you did describe.

    If approved or rejected, I will report back to this thread.

    I've noticed that there is a notification option in workflows for rejections, but unfortunately not for approvals. Thank you!

    Hello,

    While trying to answer your question, I ran the scenario with a very basic setup. The person (mme) that initiated the Sales Order and send the approval request did receive the rejection notification in his Inbox.

    The setup does look like this (KS is an existing demo salesperson called Koos Splinter in standard (Dutch) CRONUS company for which I did also create a user account for). MME is linked to my own user account. The ADMIN is linked to the MOD Admin (first user that is automatically created during creating of my D365 BC environment).

    The last piece of the second image should contain the relevant mail addresses. These are not copied. 

    Let me know if I miss something in my setup.
